DE Web Works Cancellation Policies
We hate to see you go! Here’s what you need to know about cancelling services with DE Web Works.
Below are our general guidelines regarding cancelling your service with us. Please note that if you are migrating services to another provider, it is the responsibility of that provider to migrate any data, licensing, etc. DE Web Works is neither responsible nor liable for any data loss resulting from the transfer of services to another provider.
When moving services to another provider, unless otherwise requested, we will not cut off your services until your migration has been completed. You will continue to receive invoices from us until you notify us that your migration is complete, and you wish to cancel your service.
1. Cancellation Process:
Customers may cancel their subscription at any time by email or written notice. We DO NOT accept cancellation requests over the phone. We require 30 days' written notice for cancellation to ensure that the subscription is terminated at the end of the current billing period.
2. Refund Policy:
We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods. Upon cancellation, customers will continue to have access to the subscribed services until the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds will be issued for any unused portion of the subscription.
3. Final Invoice:
If your subscription is tied to an outside vendor, such as Microsoft licensing, VoIP phone service, etc. you will continue to receive invoices until that subscription has been fully terminated with the outside vendor. Your final invoice from us will be issued at the end of the subscription period with the vendor. If your subscription is for a service provided solely by DE Web Works, your final invoice will be issued at the end of the month in which you cancel service.
Note about Microsoft M365 (previously known as O365 or Office 365):
Your licensing with Microsoft may be set for monthly billing but has an annual commitment. You are responsible for that license until the end of the annual commitment period. In most cases, this license cannot be transferred from one reseller (DE Web Works) to another, nor cancelled, until the end of the commitment period. Please check with DE Web Works to determine the end of your specific commitment period.
Note about MSP or Essentials Service:
Your MSP (Managed Service Provider) or Essentials Service is tied to 3rd party software that we will need to remove from your devices. When we do this, your device is left vulnerable to attack. Therefore, DE Web Works does not remove this software from your devices until the end of the last day of your subscription period, or at a time mutually agreed upon by DE Web Works and the client or their new provider.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, subscriptions are set to auto-renew at the end of each billing period.
5. Termination by DE Web Works:
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend a subscription, without notice, for any breach of our terms of service or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
6. Changes to Subscription Plans:
We may, at our discretion, modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the subscription plans. Customers will be notified in advance of any changes to subscription pricing or features.
7. Changes to the Policy:
We reserve the right to update or modify this Subscription Cancellation Policy at any time.

If you receive invoices from Planet Hosting, you may manage your subscription from the portal located here: https://billing.planethosting.com/
Domain Name Renewals
We have multiple methods of handling domain renewals. If you receive notices from Planet Hosting regarding a domain renewal, you may manage your domains using the portal located here: https://billing.planethosting.com/. However, if you receive an invoice from DE Web Works that your domain was renewed, that renewal has already taken place and you may cancel future renewals by contacting DE Web Works.
If you are transferring your email hosting away from DE Web Works, regardless of your initial request to cancel service, you will continue to be invoiced for email service until after the migration has completed and you have notified us that the migration is completed and you wish to cancel service. You will receive your final bill at the end of the billing period following the completion of your migration.
VoIP Phone Service
If you are transferring your VoIP phone service away from DE Web Works, regardless of your initial request to cancel service, you will continue to be invoiced for VoIP phone service until after the migration has completed and you have notified us that the migration is completed and you wish to cancel service. You will receive your final bill at the end of the billing period following the completion of your migration.

If you have backup service with DE Web Works and you cancel that service, all of your restore information will be destroyed. Please check with your Compliance Officer before cancelling this service.
